Polimoda義大利服裝設計暨時尚管理學院1986年創立於義大利的佛羅倫斯。學術方面與北美頗負盛名的紐約州立大學流行設計學院FIT有密切的交流計劃，同時也是FFTI (International Foundation of Fashion Technology Institutes)的會員學校。
Polimoda不但提供學生優質、時尚導向的專業課程，同時也是義大利卓越的設計中心，以不斷更新課程因應現今時尚業界的需求，其課程涵括服裝設計、時尚行銷、時尚管理，提供完整的時尚體系所需訓練。
學校受到佛羅倫斯(Florence)與普拉托(Prato)兩個城市的資助，同時與托斯卡尼、佛羅倫斯、普拉托等地大型企業集團有良好的互動與實習合作。近年來，Ferragamo與Versace集團的前執行長加入學校的經營團隊，使得前往Polimoda學習的學生，得以更貼切掌握時尚界的趨勢與人脈。
Polimoda義大利服裝設計暨時尚管理學院於2010年5月21至24日在台北世貿館展出新一代設計師吳怡慧Michelle Wu時尚鞋款Heavy Machine 與台灣新銳設計師黃嘉祥Jasper Huang的個人品牌, 展現Polimoda畢業生的新生代設計創意。

Polimoda started in 1986 as a joint project co-financed by the cities of Florence and Prato, along with entrepreneurial associations and the collaboration of the Fashion Institute of Technology, State University of New York. Polimoda is also a member of IFFTI (International Foundation of Fashion Technology Institutes) and works closely with the Region Toscana, Prato and Florence of Italy, benefitting from European Union funds.
Polimoda, International Institute of Fashion Design & Marketing is an Italian centre of excellence, recognized worldwide for its high quality, fashion-oriented, didactic offer ranging from design & marketing to management and communication, always in close relation to the business world.
Polimoda not only provides students with high-quality, professional training, but always in synch with the needs of fashion companies and it relies on a team of professors with long term-experiences in the fashion industry, a team focused on providing students with an updated education, always close to the fashion business.
This year, Polimoda, International Institute of Fashion Design & Marketing cooperates with Taiwan Design Center, exhibits fashion shoe brand, “Heavy Machine” designed by Michelle Wu and JASPER HUANG by Japer Huang, shows the creativity of young Taiwan designers.
